Legal Power AI – SMS Opt-In & Consent Disclosure

Legal Power AI uses SMS/text messaging to send important account-related notifications to law firms and approved users. These messages are only sent to individuals who have explicitly opted in through our platform or through one of our approved registration flows.

This page explains how consent is collected, what types of messages we send, and how users can revoke consent at any time.

1. How Users Provide Consent (Opt-In Methods)

Users may opt in to receive SMS messages from Legal Power AI through the following approved methods:

A. Registration Form (Primary Method)

When creating an account at legalpower.ai/registration, users explicitly agree to receive SMS notifications by:

  1. Entering their mobile phone number
  2. Checking a required consent box that states:

“I agree to receive SMS messages from Legal Power AI regarding account access, verification codes, and service-related notifications. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

This checkbox must be selected in order to complete account creation.

B. Activation Code Requests

When a user requests an activation code or password reset code, they are informed on-screen that:

“By requesting an SMS verification code, you consent to receiving a one-time text message from Legal Power AI.”

C. Invitation Code Requests

Users who submit a request for early-access or an invitation code may opt in by checking a consent box that states:

“I agree to receive SMS updates about my invitation status and account setup.”

2. Types of Messages Sent

Legal Power AI only sends non-marketing, service-related messages to users who opt in:

Account & Verification

  • Activation codes
  • Login verification codes
  • Password reset codes

Platform Notifications

  • Demand letter completion alerts
  • Billing/credit confirmations
  • Security or login notifications

Support Messages

  • Responses from the Legal Power AI support team (when initiated by the user)

We do not send promotional, advertising, or marketing SMS messages.

Message frequency varies based on user activity and account events.

3. Opt-Out Instructions (STOP/HELP Keywords)

Users may revoke consent at any time.

  • To stop receiving messages, text: STOP
  • To resume receiving messages after opting out, text: START
  • For help or information, text: HELP

After opting out, users will receive a confirmation message stating that SMS communication has been disabled.

Users may also request SMS removal by emailing info@legalpower.ai.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on the user’s mobile carrier.
Legal Power AI is not responsible for carrier fees.

5. Privacy & Data Security

Legal Power AI does not share or sell phone numbers to third parties.
SMS communication is used solely for account-related purposes.
